Code of Conduct and Ethics
A FEW WORDS FOR THE CODE OF CONDUCT AND ETHICS OF PRESSIOUS ARVANITIDIS
Our company’s Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics (hereinafter referred to as the “Code”) has a dynamic character, because the initial text is being updated and adapted to new data, reflecting the culture of the company, aiming to set out in a single text the general principles and rules that should govern the commitment of management to PressiousArvanitidis’ employees, suppliers and clients, society and the environment, as well as the legal obligations and moral duties that must regulate the professional conduct of all employees of the company. In this way we create another springboard for the improvement of working conditions, we develop the company and the people who work in it and we set an example and cause positive changes for the companies in our industry.
The creation of the Code is guided by the applicable legal framework that governs the professional activity of the company, the existing sensitivities and trends of the society, the successful business models applied at international level by pioneering leading groups, and the harmonization of all the aforementioned with the components of the company (the high quality services and products it provides in the course of conducting its business, the standards of professional conduct adopted for the needs relating to the conduct of said business, as well as the practices and procedures followed in order to implement these obligations).
The Code addresses, concerns and commits both the existing employees of the company as well as all new persons who are recruited and who recognize and accept the Code, and defines the framework of cooperation of the company with existing and future clients, suppliers and other partners.
This Code on the one hand defines the daily operation and behaviour of employees and on the other hand constitutes a manual of rules of acceptable behaviour among employees but also between them and third parties, natural or legal, of private or public law, domestic or foreign, and applies to all employees of the company regardless of hierarchical rank.
The following pages of this manual contain useful general information about the company’s policy on employment, working conditions and benefits, as well as other information regarding its procedures and operating rules.
