Marked by the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5, PressiousArvanitidis alongside one of her main campaign characters, Ecoallius, becomes an avid supporter of the effort initiated by NGO “we4all” by planting 200 trees.
For PressiousArvanitidis, Ecoallius highlights the environmentally cautious use of paper, raises awareness, and explains to us how the usage of paper should be an environmentally cautious choice. PressiousArvanitidis implements action and enables practices to become a company moving towards sustainable development.
PressiousArvanitidis has a variety of certifications in the protection of the environment. Already being a member of the “FSC Chain of Custody Certification” and is the first company in the industry, in Greece, that was certified by the FSC.
Since 2010, PressiousArvanitidis’ partners choose to use printed material certified by the FSC. The company’s environmental awareness and responsibility is evident from the environmental goals set with core examples such as the zero-waste production line, while also implementing the Environmental Management System according to EN ISO 14001 certified by TÜV AUSTRIA and the reusing of the production materials, such as paper, aluminum, water, and ink or recycling the materials completely. Another beneficial change implemented is that 16% of the consuming daily power comes from using solar energy.
Since May 2012, PressiousArvanitidis is a member of the network of certified companies of the organization SEDEX. PressiousArvanitidis is certified according to 4pillar SMETA and is audited for issues related to Environmental Management, Business Ethics, Labor, and Health & Safety issues.
