PressiousArvanitidis, once again contributed to the chain of reciprocation for Shedia, the only street magazine, which this year completes its 11th anniversary.
Its anniversary issue was printed by the people of PressiousArvanitidis, in order to give back to the initiative of the NGO “Diogenes” that helps so many people in a daily basis!
“Shedia” is the only street magazine published in 41 countries and has a reach of about 6 million readers. The magazine, which can be found in many places in Athens, for example near metro stations, is an initiative that gives socially vulnerable groups (homeless, unemployed and generally people who need financial help) the opportunity to start a new beginning, providing income, without becoming beggars. The idea of this initiative came from the Non-Profit Organization “Diogenes” in combination with other actions, in order to support and try to reintegrate socially excluded and vulnerable people into society.
