The recipe of…wellness!

PressiousArvanitidis, on the occasion of World Wellness Day on June 10, organized actions for its employees that promote physical and mental health, carrying out a special training, which was about nutrition, inviting a professional nutritionist as a speaker.

Myths and reality about the benefits of food categories and how a balanced diet is defined were presented. The speech was attended by all PressiousArvanitidis employees, enthusiastic about a topic that concerns us all and is completely connected to wellness and its achievement.

Additional information about wellness was sent to employees in one of the company’s internal channels, the PressiousArvanitidis Newsletter, which explained why physical exercise, combined with nutrition and maintaining mental health is the trinity of achieving ultimate wellness.

Finally, because of the day, a grocery bag was given as a gift to the employees, which contained foods essential for the proper functioning of the body, which correspond to the three categories of food that it is necessary to consume. An avocado was given to reflect the fat, nuts for the protein source (vegan friendly) and finally whole wheat pasta for the carbohydrate source. Targeted in advance, all the products given fall into 2 or all food categories.
